A-1 had one of my favorite albums in 2012 with “The Thurl Tape”. Now the bay area emcee is dropping more heat in anticipation of his upcoming album “Thurlian”( to be released on March 5th). This track is also like a thank you to people who contributed to his kickstarter campaign and it is a refreshing thoughtful single. If you want to have some hope in humanity “good people” is a soundtrack for that. He recently dropped the more dance driven “There I go” as well. Given the sound of these two releases I am more than ready for “Thurlian” to drop. 2015 is shaping up to be a good year for hip-hop.
