His particular capacity is anything but particular. At 22 years old, writing, producing and mixing his own material has clearly set A.Y.E. in a league of his own. He has learned the value of patience, which he has been able to showcase in his art. A.Y.E. has quickly developed a natural ear for music largely due to his father’s influence. Other influences such as Bob Marley, Jay-Z, Nas and Jimmy Cliff have played a major role in his musical personality, but memories of his father’s reggae bands’ shows and the atmosphere that brought A.Y.E. to life eventually transpired into his own work.
