I love the fact that I continue to be surprised by the fact Fiend keeps dropping dope relevant music in a era when many OG’s are out here chasing trends. Fiend does better than reinvent himself on these new mixtape/projects for jet-life records and his own label. He actually embraces his own love of hip-hop going to his more lyrical style while keeping the street edge. The new video below for “became king” shows him in his strongest light and I went ahead and posted his mixtape from earlier this summer in case you missed it. Fiend is a artist that is well worth watching a lyrical journeyman who has been in the no limit, rough ryder and now jet life camp…..peace and peep game
