I have to say it….The G-sides is one of the most consistently dope groups out of the southeast right now. I copped a copy of their return album G’z II Godz back in may and it was the sound track to my beach vacation and looks like it is going to burn through the last half of the summer. This is has been a quietly dope summer for southern indie music and The two spitters from the rocket city put the icing on the cake. This jawn is loaded with some top flight production by the block beattaz and guest appearances by Flotown indie legend GMANE of slave Kamp fame, JOI tiffany, Kristmas, Grilly, Mic strange etc. The G-sides go toward a more chill meets trap sound on this one and it worked from track to track my favorite joint on the album is “2004”. But I really had no track that I didn’t like or that I wanted to skip. It is good to see these cats back on their grind and I hope they stay with it til the world blows….ENJOY! a cool ride on the G-side
