Fresh out of the mobile Alabama, Nu Nation and ROBOT HOUSE family comes Koji the Bandit with his first full length beat tape. We have posted several jawns from Nu Nation over the years, so you know how they roll lyrically and creatively. If you don’t know they are dope so check them out but robot house is the producer collective that supplies most of the sonics for the creative bohemian collective. Koji is equally at home flipping samples and building his own soundscapes from scratch, this beat tape covers the latter. It delves into a minimalist electronic sound with soulful undercurrent. This is a nice chill listen that will fit nicely in your hip-hop instrumental/downtempo collection. This makes me wonder what is next from the collective and if this beat tape is any indication Koji can have a bright future in this game. ENJOY!
