This is a pleasant surprise. I love it when I stumble across some good music on the internets and THE WHOevers have the kind of sound that they may have a spot in my best 2014 line up. TheWHOevers are a Chicago-based hip hop duo formed by emcees J.Arthur and DotKom. They remind me of a roots because of the way they draw inspiration from various sources but stay with a core of heavy lyricism with introspective bars. ENJOY!
