Wara from the NBHD dropped “If Guns could speak PSA” a while back. It is such a relevant piece of work given the times we live in. He is speaking from position of a youth trapped between a unjust legal system and a neighborhood with violence around the corner on every turn. It speaks to the nihilism and disenfranchisement of a broken spirit trying to find a way to mend. Hopefully people can see Wara is working through these struggles and not championing the suffering which many phony pop street rappers do. This whole effort makes you feel on edge a bit with the production being low fi and jarring and wara rapping like he only has seconds left to get the message to us…ENJOY! and reflect
